Notice to our new visitors: Our site is a labor of love - we truly cherish rare antique furniture, especially American antiques & collectibles.
Our site is currently being COMPLETELY RE-DESIGNED to facilitate your listing of items and our AFFILIATE relationships. We will be augmenting our pages to feature local antique furniture dealers, consultants, appraisers, masters of restoration, etc.
To become an affiliated national or local Consultant, Dealer, Appraiser, etc. Click on our Partners link. Please be patient with us as a proper re-design will take some time. In the meantime if you have a collection of items you would like to list for sale, we may list these privately. Contact Us.

Here you will find hundreds of items that belong to individuals and estates. Many antiques you see here date from the 1700's and early 1800's. All items shown here are listed by individuals which makes our site unique - we are not a forum for dealers as is GoAntiques.com. Rather we are a forum for antique furniture lovers and collectors, where individual buyers, sellers and services providers can connect.
Browse through pages and pages of truly beautiful and rare antique furniture (soon to be augmented by an advanced site-wide search) to find an item you can't resist. If you have questions about a particular item you may contact the owner directly by clicking on "Inquire about this Item" and filling out a short form.

Site navigation note: In today's featured item listing below, note that when you "mouse over" any of the thumbnail images it will replace the larger image. Generally when you move your mouse from the rightmost image in a series the original larger image will be restored. TRY IT!

When you see the 4AF Certified seal, it means that our consultants have inspected and authenticated a particular item. Furniture is at least 105 years old and is in original condition. Unless otherwise noted, it is not refinished, and shows its original hardware. Keep in mind that authentic American antique furniture typically bears some indications of wear and use.
Our site is rich with graphic images, so please be patient if at times it takes a few moments to load a page or to retrieve a particular picture, especially if you have a dial-up connection to the Internet.
More About Our Site - Here you can display, offer and sell antique furniture - expose your precious items to dealers and private buyers - or simply create a web showcase of your rare antique collectibles for family and friends. Should you desire to display and sell your antiques we do not charge a sales commission - rather our listing service involves a nominal set-up fee per item.
Once our site is redesigned you will be able to find antique appraisal services, antique stores and dealers, furniture restoration and repair, as well as antique auctions, malls and shows in your geographical area.
Enjoy your visit here, and please bookmark our site for future reference, since we are continually adding new items. If you have any questions please contact us.
